Lilies belong to the Liliaceae family, with lanceolateor oval-lanceolate leaves. The flowers are large with their sepals and petals which constitute a perianth of six unfolded or curved tepals so that the flower has the appearance of a trumpet. They emit a pleasant aroma. Among the most cultivated lilies, we have 3 groups: Oriental, they produce large flowers with a beautiful and exotic shape, and a very intense aroma; O.T, which are distinguished by their large calyx-shaped flowers and a limited range of colors; LAs, known for its range of colors and smaller blooms.
